Hey people! I need your help, Please!
So this is kind of a long shot but I am going to be applying to a graphic design program and I have some ideas but I'm not 100% what to put in the 8 to 12 piece portfolio I have to put together for that. It has to be able to follow current (future?) trends. I will probably put some kind of photography, and I'm defiantly going to put together a book cover. A website template?
Any suggestions for this?

For the most part I've moved most of my photos to Flickr( www.flickr.com/photos/12261288… ). Although I've been thinking of posting here too. Including stock to my stock page.

Life...and art.

Well...hello everyone.
My Mom died in November. Two day's before that I got engaged to a man I love dearly.
Anyway...that isn't what i'm really here to write about. I just wanted to say sorry about disappearing on everyone, and that this is quite probably a goodbye for DA. I've really enjoyed my time here. I'm going put all the deviations in this and the stock account in storage and in a few months or a year I will see if i want to delete them/the account.
Thought I would let people know about my plans for my account for the people who do/did care about me and the art I've made.
If you download some of my stock, please continue to follow all of the rules and notify. I will still check the messages on DA periodically. If I create a different account(s) and decide to start all new, I will write a new post in this journal about it. If you would like to talk you can still message me on this account. Thanks for the good times. My brain seems just a bit left of everywhere lately, sorry about all rambling.

I have jury duty on the 24th. It kind of messed up my summer. :/ oh well maybe i will take my sketch pad and draw something. I did last time.
I'm thinking very seriously of separating my gallery into different accounts. Like one each for photography, fan art/fiction,writing, analog drawing's, and paintings. I think i'd keep my digital stuff here. I don't know...anyone have experience in that? What do you all think?

I always forget my DAanniversary, and of course it's only thank to 
that I am remembering it this year. It has been six years since I first joined DA and for the most part it has been really great, aside of course from some of the stupid stuff the DA corporation keeps doing. I have met some really great people on here, and met a few trolls.
This place has often inspired me, and the people always have. I have gone from ladysarah.deviantart.com/art/P… to ladysarah.deviantart.com/art/T… traditionally and from ladysarah.deviantart.com/art/G… to ladysarah.deviantart.com/art/P… digitally.
To many more years meeting many great people, to discovering more art, and to improving my own.
